Who This Is For

Families who need care
in Beijing — with support.

✈️

Families traveling to Beijing for specialist care

Your child needs a subspecialist appointment that is months away at home, or costs more than you can manage. Beijing's private paediatric hospitals may offer faster access and transparent self-pay pricing — we review your case before you book anything.

🌐

Families combining a China visit with medical care

Already planning a trip to China — and want to use the visit to address a paediatric concern, gynaecology review, or maternity consultation that would cost far more at home. We coordinate the medical component before you travel so it is confirmed before you arrive.

🌏

Families with ties to China

Based in the US or elsewhere, with family or roots in China. You are planning a visit and want to arrange specialist care — a paediatric assessment, a gynaecology review, a maternity consultation — coordinated before you travel so nothing is left to chance on arrival.

Families who can't wait for a US appointment

A developmental assessment, paediatric cardiology referral, or OB/GYN specialist appointment in the US can take 3–6 months. For families where waiting is not a realistic option, Beijing's private specialist hospitals may offer access within days to weeks — subject to physician availability and case review.

What Matters to Families

Common family concerns.
How we reduce uncertainty.

Will the doctor speak English?

We coordinate care through hospitals with English-speaking medical staff or dedicated international patient support. At United Family Hospital and New Century, English-language service is central to the patient experience. At Aiyuhua, we provide coordination support to bridge any gaps.

Is the standard of care international?

These hospitals are designed for family-focused and international patient care, with structured clinical pathways and international patient support where available. United Family Hospital operates with internationally oriented clinical governance, while New Century and Aiyuhua are built around women's and children's services.

Will my child be comfortable?

Pediatric environments matter. New Century's clinic rooms have child-friendly decor, toy shelves, and examination tables scaled for children. United Family's pediatric team includes specialists trained in managing anxious young patients. We'll tell you exactly what to expect before you arrive so your child knows what's coming.

What if something goes wrong urgently?

United Family Hospital has 24/7 emergency services and English-language support. For pediatric emergencies, care pathways and escalation options depend on the patient's condition and hospital capacity at the time. We also brief you on emergency protocols before your stay so you know exactly who to call and where to go.

Will my insurance cover it?

Major international insurers including Cigna Global, Bupa International, and AXA may be accepted depending on hospital and plan. We verify coverage and direct billing eligibility before your appointment.

Can I get records back home?

Yes. Appointments can produce English-language documentation when requested and coordinated in advance. We coordinate the preparation of records in a format your home doctor will recognise — so your child's care is continuous, not fragmented by the international move.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about women's and children's care

All three partner hospitals accept major international insurers including Cigna Global, Bupa International, and AXA. We verify your coverage and confirm direct billing eligibility before your appointment.

What paediatric subspecialties are available?
United Family Hospital has paediatric subspecialists including cardiology, neurology, and gastroenterology. For complex cases requiring national-level paediatric depth, we can coordinate access through Beijing Children's Hospital's international department, which opened in January 2026.
What if my child has a medical emergency in Beijing?
United Family Hospital has 24/7 emergency services with English-speaking staff on call at all times. We brief you on emergency protocols before your stay so you know exactly who to call and where to go.
