What information we collect
When you submit a case review request, we may collect:

- Correspondence and communication records
We collect only the information needed to assess pathway suitability and coordinate care. You are not required to share complete medical records to begin an eligibility call.
How medical records are used
Medical records and personal health information you share with us are used solely for:
- Assessing whether a Beijing medical pathway may be suitable for your case
- Preparing case summaries for hospital or specialist review
- Coordinating appointments and hospital access
- Supporting translation and communication during your care
We do not use your medical records for marketing, analytics, product development, or any purpose unrelated to your case coordination.
When records are shared with hospitals
Your medical records are shared with partner hospitals or specialists only in the following circumstances:
- You have confirmed you wish to proceed with a case review or coordination
- You have been informed which hospital or specialist will review your records
- Sharing is necessary to provide the coordination service you have requested
We do not share your records with any hospital, clinic, physician, or third party without your knowledge and agreement.
Consent
By submitting a case review request, you consent to BeijingMedAccess collecting and processing the information you provide for the purpose of pathway assessment and coordination. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at hello@beijingmedaccess.com. Withdrawal of consent may limit our ability to provide coordination services.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or medical records to any third party. Information is shared only with partner hospitals and specialists directly involved in your care coordination, and only as described above.
We may use secure third-party tools for communication and case management (such as encrypted email and document storage). These tools are selected for their security standards and are subject to data processing agreements.
Data retention
We retain case records for the period necessary to provide coordination services and for a reasonable period following case closure, in case you need to reference prior assessments. You may request deletion of your records at any time.
No sale of patient data
We do not sell patient information. BeijingMedAccess does not participate in patient data brokerage, advertising data sharing, or any arrangement that involves monetising your personal or medical information.
Deletion requests
To request deletion of your personal information or medical records held by BeijingMedAccess, please contact us at hello@beijingmedaccess.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days and confirm completion.
